Steve Hunt was looking for a performance shop to do some work on his 07 Roush 427R. After placing a few calls to performance shops around the country and not being satisfied, he gave Pro Dyno a call, and well, as they say the rest is history. Steve told us he felt right at home and very comfortable talking with Dan and the rest of Pro Dyno about what he wanted out of his car.
With parts on order and coming in, Steve began to make the trip from Des Moines, Iowa! You read that right! Steve made the 14 hour drive all the way from Iowa in his Harley Davidson F150 with his Roush in tow! Steve arrived Sunday night in town and anxiously awaited Monday to meet the Pro Dyno crew and to get to work on his Roush.
When Steve first arrived you could tell he was very excited and right off the bat knew he made the right decision in driving the 14 hours for Pro Dyno to work on his car. First thing his car hit the dyno for some baseline numbers before we dived in on the new parts.
Baseline numbers were 404HP and 353TQ on roughly 5#'s of boost.
After this he was ready for some parts to be installed!
Steve decided on the following to beef up the Roush:
Comp Stage 2 Cams/Springs/Limiters
Roush 2.57 Pulley
Kooks Long Tube Headers
Kooks Hi-Flow H-Pipe
Roush Extreme Catback
After all these parts were installed, we were all anxious to see what numbers it would put down on the dyno.
Running now about 6.5#'s of boost, Steve's Roush put down 439HP and 405TQ.
Those are gains of 35HP and 52TQ!
If you had seen the smile on Steve's face the entire time, and especially with the final numbers, you would say he was one happy customer and that made the 14 hour drive all worth while!
Steve told us he would definitely be sending some friends from Iowa our way!
With the test drive done and the Roush loaded back up on his trailer, Steve was off for Iowa knowing that he had made the right choice in choosing a Pro Dyno!
