This is a bit of a flashback for me to May 2000 at Gingerman Raceway. Driving by an officer driving a Police Impala without fear or remorse.

A highlight of participating in 1 Lap of America in 97 SVT Cobra.

Try this again now that permissions include attachments.

Wheels done turning and "manage attachments" has appeared. :thumbsup:

Yeah!! It was max fun at times. Frustration other times.

Not everyone would know the format of the event.

Well it included time trials at 7 race tracks in 7 days. That's Gingerman in Michigan and back to Gingerman with Sebring and Limerock plus four others enroute. No towing allowed.

My co driver and I put 9,000 miles on the car in two weeks! 4,500 commuting from CA. The same in completing the 1 Lap. Earned the right to be called a "Lap Dog" as finishers.

No I haven't and probably won't do it again.

BTW The "Pub" was a place we had to show to get a sticker? or something. No alcohol for 7 days. That's not happened before or since. It was hard!
