The SCMC bought the URL, www.ponycarsandchicken.com (http://www.ponycarsandchicken.com).

If you ever went to a "Cars and Coffee" event you know that there are different makes and models to stare at all morning long but did you ever wish there would be more Mustangs at an event like that? Well, along comes "Ponycars and Chicken." Everyone loves Chick-Fil-A right? So why not meet for breakfast once a month? You meet at a CFA for an hour or so and then on to your Saturday morning errands. It's a great way for Mustang owners to get together and not be the minority like you are at a cars and coffee event. However, if you like all kinds of cars, we will not schedule a PAC on the same weekend as a Cars and Coffee so you can enjoy both breakfast meets.

The idea behind ponycars and chicken (PAC) is to develop an avenue for our members to get together anywhere in the USA. All we need is one volunteer to be a contact person and who is willing to answer questions via e-mail or telephone. That person should be able to contact the local Chick-Fil-A for promotional cards.

While the SCMC will be the primary club for PAC, other clubs will be able to have their own and be able to post it on the ponycarsandchicken website. All they have to do is simply submit the date, location, and contact name with e-mail and they will be added to the front page of the website.

PAC is not just for SCMC members, we want all Mustangs to come out and enjoy breakfast with us so we can share our Mustang passion that so many of us have had for almost 50 years! ALL Mustang and SVT owners are invited and encouraged to join us at our designated locations below. We will add locations as the number of volunteers increase. We will not promote events that are within a 30 mile radius of each other so you couldn't have one on Cherry Road in Rock Hill and Dave Lyle Blvd as they are one exit away from one another.

All meets will be from 7:30 am to 10:00 am.

Our inaugural event will be on July 13, 2013 and the current locations are as follows:

Hi guys.

I'm with Mustangs of Massachusetts (https://www.facebook.com/groups/mustangsofmass/), a Facebook-based Mustang owners group, and a bunch of our members plan to show up at the show in Burlington MA.

Just to let those know that might be going, a lot of our guys plan on driving some place nearby for lunch, then going to the show at Skips in Merrimac MA

Hope to have a great time, it's gonna be awesome to be at a Mustang-only show! :)

Gabe,

Glad you joined us. Remember, this is just like a "cars and coffee" event. Just a meet and greet not a car show. However, that doesn't mean sometime in the future it couldn't lead to more. Just breakfast at Chick-Fil-A with fellow ponycar owners. I also encourage your group to come out and try our autocross at Devens, it's a lot of fun with your car and speeds can get pretty high. Have fun at Skips!

Some of the guys have done autocrossing, I never have, even though I think I have a set-up that would do pretty well (Steeda springs, Koni adjustable shocks, 275/40/18 tires all around, a few other things :) )

Looking forward to it all ... this is my first Mustang, although I've always been a car nut and been part of various clubs for over 10 years

Our next autocross is in October, you should try it out. The events sell out and they sell out quickly so if you want to try it, do not wait too long! :)

Cool.

By the way, this Cars and Chicken is on the same day and time as a Cars And Coffee set-up by a dealership in a different town, but I've already made it clear on the Facebook page that I'd give priority to an all-Mustang show over the other one ;)

Anybody that wants to join the FB group, feel free to click on the link I posted above :)

We try to use 30 miles as the parameter for setting these meets up. If it is over 30 miles then it probably won't matter. We do not want to have conflicting events in the same town.

I'll get Pat to sign up, he lives in MA and handles our events up there!

Well, I'll be there with my '13 GT

I'm expecting a red/white-stripe '08 GT500 to show up, possibly a red '12 GT/CS, a red '11 GT/CS, a green '89 LX with a 393 stroker and a Vortech pushing about 725 rwhp :) and maybe a few others from my club.

We're now thinking we'll have lunch locally, maybe even right there at the Mall, then go to Skips in Merrimac, to be there by 2-3PM

In regards to the "Cars And Chicken" show that was to take place in Burlington MA this Saturday 7-13-2013, I received an e-mail from the organizer (Pat) saying it's been postponed till some time next month.
Pat's wife has been hospitalized and, understandably, he will be by her side.
I wish her a quick recovery, whatever she's going through (I don't have details), and hopefully she'll be well and strong enough to join us at the rescheduled meet.
Stay strong Pat!
