Ok guys I am new to this forum so please if you can be patient with me. I am looking to get back 98,000 miles on it. Car looks great I am just worried about the high miles on the motor into owning a mustang as I had a 90's model Lx back in the day. Well I came across a 2003 SVT Cobra with with the Whipple charger that it has on it. It also has stage 3 cams and a few other performance goodies. What are some of you guys opinions on buying a car like this with high miles? Also any idea what a reasonable price would be? Thanks for any help and info I can get from you all.

Do you want my honest opinion?

Go for it. It is not my first time on a forum.

I'd pass on it. 98K modded car means it has most likely been dogged to death. What is the asking price?

That is exactly what I am worried about. Also I think it is priced to high at $19,875?

Also, be sure to visit the SCMC's terminatorCobras.com website and facebook page. There is a ton of activity on our FB page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/TerminatorCobras/

Screw that....you can find a much lower mildly modified car for low 20's/high teens.

I will be sure to do that once I am home. I am at work now and the government doesn't let us on there. This is the car

They both look like they have been heavily modded. What I look for when I get one of those cars is a one owner, low mileage as close to stock as you can get Terminator.

Yes, I investigated your e-mail address before approving you for the forums and saw that you were a gov't employee. :)

Well I wouldn't mind the lower milage heavily modded one. I would like one that is stock but then again if I can get one in good condition and modded I would go for that one. The grey one is a two owner car and is currently in the shop getting a knock fixed in the bottom end. Soooo almost new motor with that one, I hope. The first owner of the car is a good friend of the guy. The current owner is a contract overseas worker who never drives it anymore. Like you said though a one owner low mile almost stock car would be great. I would still spend a lot of $$ on mods later though.

Ha yes good ole gov't worker yay me.

Go to TerminatorCobras facebook page, there is a 55K mile car for 16K. There are other cars for sale on there, too.

Ok I know that most would say stay away from a high mile car. What about one with a rebuilt motor and only about 1,000 miles on it? This one is just a few hours from me and he is willing to come down on the price a little. Good looking car selling because his wife is expecting.

Wonder why the engine needed a rebuild?

Ha I am sure it was treated badley. Guy says it smoked a little when he got it but claims it is good now. I am still looking around to see what is out there.
