Full Throttle Fall Fest - Virginia International Raceway -- Alton, VA -- November 22-23, 2014

SVT Cobra Mustang Club/Shelby GT500 Club and Track Club USA are proud to present the "Full Throttle Fall Fest."

It is also a "Meet for all Shelby GT500 owners." Owners can have a group photo of their cars on track. Have their cars displayed in the Gallery for Saturday night dinner, and get some on track shots of their cars.

The event will be held at the world class location of Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA, just east of Danville, VA.

The Fest will consist of two days of open track. Also available will be on site karting, skeet shooting, and more....

The first 20 people to sign up before August 1, 2014 can take a $100.00 discount in leiu of the $45.00 discount provided they mail in a check and a hard copy registration form. The $45.00 discount is good till November 1, 2014 and again is only good with a mail in registration. (You cannot take both discounts) The first 20 people will be listed in this thread and once we reach that number, the $45.00 discount goes into effect.

We will be running the full course on both Saturday and Sunday.

The hard copy registration form can now be downloaded for those that want to pay with a check. Your options include two day on track registration, one day on track registration, hyperdrive (one 30 minute session on track in your car), or parade lap fee. You do not have to pay for parade laps if you already paid for either a one day or two day registration fee, the parade laps are included in that purchase.

The car show/cruise in is free so sign up early as it is a preregistration event only, that means you cannot sign up for the car show on the day of the event. Saturday Night Dinner will be held in the Gallery. This is a social function and is a "pay individually" fee. That means you pay at the door as we will not be collecting money for this portion of the event. We need at least 50 people to attend to make it worth while for the track to use the gallery for the evening where we can set up a screen and throw up pictures from the days' event. I have a couple buddies that are trying to get me to come run this event but I have a couple questions since I've never done an event with you guys.
(buddies are: Mike Rousch, Doug Kaiser, Rick Hoe)

first off, I have a competition license with NASA and run a 260hp mustang in CMC. I would be in the Blue group but are there point-by's or open passing?

Are there classroom sessions/meetings for the blue group?

What is the approx time format/hours of track time each day (I might only be able to do Sat only???)

Does anyone camp/stay at the track?

I'm putting my car back together and could be a last minute entry depending on if the car is ready to run. What restrictions exist for last minute registrations?

Tony would be the best source but having run a few scmc events ill but in my 2 cents. Several will camp at the track in their haulers but late fall events can get cool and rooms at the track are usually available.no classroom in blue. Passing with points only usually with wheels straight but you will quickly learn who you can trust in the corners. This is a fun group of guys. I went to watkins glen with Rick, Doug, Rodney, etc and had a great time. Hope to see you at VIR in november.

We are not accepting anymore "Novice" participants for this event. Anyone in Orange, Blue, or White can still register. If you need an instructor then you'll just have to hit the next event. If you do not need an instructor, then you can still register up until the day of the event. We will not accept credit card payments or checks the day of the event, it is a "cash only" fee of $275.00 per day or $495.00 for two days.
