Hello everyone!

We just wanted to let you know that everyone is invited down (or up) to Illinois for our annual
Midwest cruise /dinner day and the Victor Ford Show.

Followed by the SCMC get together at the
Victor Ford Show - Wauconda, IL (call 847-526-5541) for more info.

The staff at Victor Ford are very hospitable -
and every year they have some surprises for us !! I think that Dean and Tim really liked the one from last year ...

It is free, they provide lunch, t-shirts and drinks. Bring extra though, they usually don't run out, but you never know !!

After the show we get together for a late lunch at a place of everyone's choice. We really do have allot of fun, and we get to know each other !! It's a chance to "unwind" from track events and judged shows and just really enjoy our Cobra's and one another ....

If you cannot make it by 1:00 you can meet us at 5:00 at the restaurant .. We will post further info pertaining to the location ....

Hummm.....just got off the phone from calling the Motel. Seems no one there knows anything about the SVT Cobra Mustang Club or any discount.

I won't make the Victor Ford show this year. I will be racing the Lightning at the Norwalk, Ohio Fun Ford Weekend(now I remember why I wasn't at the Victor show last year). I will try to keep tabs on your other events and will show up at another one soon. I'm am contemplating getting a set of those wheels for my Cobra. Can you have Tim e-mail me as to where he said I could get a better price. Doesn't Mike H. sell them too?

the reason that I have not been "clear" about the schedule is because there didn't seem to be much interest ...

That is unless ofcourse,
there is someone else coming that we don't know about?

However - if Edith and you are coming we will definitely have a nice time !!

We can be "flexible" on the time ...

you let me know what you want to do?

There are lots of fun roads up there to tour - we don't have a set "schedule" ... we'll just go somewhere!

If I know how many people are coming, then I can make some reservations for Hackneys -
it's reasonably priced, and the food is o.k.

unless you'd like to go somewhere else?

My wife and I will be at Victor and maybe the cruise Saturday. If you want to go to a BIG cruise night, try downtown Lombard. The car cruse up and down the street, everyone parks on the street and in local business lots. It's really neat!

That would be cool if you could come with on Saturday...


we only live about 10 minutes from you... we could swing by and make a caravan if you'd like !!

Yes - we have been to the Lombard cruise night. We used to go thru there every Friday night, however, most of the time it is
Quote " non-Ford " Unquote ...
people and it is a difficult cruise night to take two Cobra's. Not that we are embarrassed, cuz were not...
however, we found other cruise nights where there are more Mustangs and Cobra's, Ford in general is "accepted"....

The Lombard cruise night is usually always the same people with the same attitude..

However, Tim and I would be happy to meet up with you so that we could all show up together ... ???

We are looking forward to meeting you!

Tim and I have to be at Victor Ford with our '98 by 8:15 a.m. Sunday morning ...

All of you can make the decision whether you want to go with us at 7:45 a.m. or if you'd like to wait and go a little bit later...

I think we may be able to save a couple of parking spaces.....

Annette just called and she is coming home tonight which means that I will be following Dave into Chi-town in time for the 3:00 cruise. :bounce:

Please let me know were you plan to go, I agree with you about Lombard on all points. I may have a hard time meeting at 3:00 I was asked today to help a friend replace a trans in a Mustang, I hope we will be long done by then, but you never know!
