Well, I finally got the bad boy home last night folks. I took some photos this morning and just had time to add them to the web after it took me a while to figure it out. Anyway, there not that good and I'll try to get some better ones tomorrow. The car drives great though. You can feel the power there although I just took it fairly easy coming home. Love the color

Just wanted to say thanks to you good folks for being so supportive. I really love this car. Rob03 I was glad to see you finally got yours as well. I hope you found someone to help you with the pics. Big Daddy hows the engine rebuild coming ? Sounds like this one is gonna be a beast. I haven't planned any mods for mine yet. I was trying to find out if K&N made any products for it yet but they said they don't have anything going that at least customer service is aware of. I was looking for a filtercharger. Possibly one with a chrome tube assembly. Do any of you know of a manufacturer that handles those ? I will be spending a lot of this July 4th going over the Cobra with a Zaino treatment. Gonna start with the wash, clay bar and then the Z5, 2, and 6. Probably several coats of those last two. So I'll be a busy beaver. By the way, I was looking for my build sheet but I found some sticker like paper that had a bunch of letters on it with inspection stamps. Since I don't know what a build sheet looks like, I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me. This sticker is about the size of a 3X5 index card. I scanned it and attached as a photo so you guys can see what I'm talking about. Well, gotta get going. All of you have a great Holiday and be safe out there.

Well I don't know what it is but it's not a build sheet. I have mine off my '01 and it doesn't look anything like that. The engine rebuild continues but it looks like it will now be at least the 19th before I get it back. The blower was full of water and had to be sent to Vortech to be checked out and repaired if necessary. :( :( Oh well! ;) ;)

Rob03,

Great looking Snake!!! Can't wait to see it in person. Do you plan on doing any Road Courses in it, or are you into drag racing or both?? :D :D

The club I belong to does a little of both. I will wait until I have at least 1000 miles on it before I try someting like that.

Rob03 that is a fine lookin snake you got there !! I'm like you in waiting until the motor gets broke in for about 1000 miles before I get right with it. Not that I'm babyin it but I haven't exceeded 5000 rpm yet. On the Zaino, that stuff makes the paint awesome. In fact, it's so good that I can now see where the dipstick at the dealers who detailed it scratched the clearcoat up in several places. It's deep enough where it will have to be buffed out. Zaino has a product for swirls and fine scratches but these are too deep. I know a guy who repainted an 87 Grand National of mine. He does great work so I'll get with him. But using the Zaino process really makes it shine. As a comparison, I looked at the sun's reflection in an area not done yet and it had a dull haze to it. Then I looked at an area already completed and the sun was a fine spot in the surface. Big difference !!
It is a lot of work by the time you get everything done from washing to claying and then the polish application, etc. but it is worth it. Hope this helps.
