We had a great two days at the Mod Shootout. ESPN was there filming, interviewing Scott Winger and Dave King. They got a shot of my car with the SCMC logo on the door. Will show the taped stuff in early August.

I ran a few times on the strip, spent the rest of time in the show. Incredibly clean, fine Cobras there.

Ran a new best ET and Speed, 13.04 (rounded down), 115 MPH (rounded up).

Good job Dave, there's a 12 in that car....just need to get that launch down and pull a 1.9-2.0 60' and you'll be there.

The car show was tremendous.....it was a very close contest between a few of the cars...

One of our own SCMC members took the prize though....1st place in the Cobra class and "Best in Show" with the most points. His car was really sweet!!

My hats off to Tom and JC for their time and dedication to judging. It was very hot to say the least. The quality of the cars was outstanding.

Scott Winger did an awesome job putting everything together and making sure it went smoothly.

MGW and George for sponsering the show and making QUALITY products that are second to none.

Dave, I would have brought my drag radials down for you to run on. I did not know you were running.

Hopefully we can all get together at the Grand National in Aug-Sept. I will be coming with my wife to Charlotte.

Doh! Now I put the board name with the face. I guess I should have asked. :D

Thomas B. and I were talking about the Grand National event on the LONG drive back home. We will be there for sure.

Congrats on the win, and that's a really sweet ride.

I too had a great time at the Mod Shootout !!!

It was trully a hard show to judge. Lots of sweet looking cars. BAD PNY, you car was a thing of beauty. Excellent workmanship and an even better selection of mods on that fine snake... It was my pleasure to finally meet you.

Dave, your car has the capability for easy 12's with more practice and a better tire with more grip. Keep at it !!!

JC

PS: Both Scott & Angela looked great tying the knot !!! Congratulations to the newly wed couple !!!
