Well, we had a blast !!

We had a reunion with our friends & we met some new friends !!

We had an enjoyable afternoon on Saturday ... despite all the traffic in the area, we managed to find a few open roads ...

Dean had his first ride in a supercharged Cobra...

so Dean - what do you think?

Dave and Edith were able to see what it's like trying to get around the City of Chicago to get to the Northern Suburbs of Illlinois ...

 :jawdrop:

talk about an eye opener ...

thanks for making the trip and giving us some support !!

And, let's see,
Tim and I finally met some Cobra/Mustang lover's in our area that we can cruise with !!

WELCOME TO THE CLUB Terry and Barb !!
Nice cars !!

the weather was beautiful....

Giordano's Pizza on Saturday was delicious!

After that we parked our cars and sat by the trailer in the shade and just enjoyed talking and watching the sun go down....

The show on Sunday was very enjoyable.

Wow !! There were allot of people . ... allot of cars !!

Here are some pictures:

And, ofcourse - following the show ... and following all of our "peel-out onto Route 12" escapades ....
(that was exhilerating ....) ;)

we had a nice relaxing and refreshing lunch at Hackneys...

(SCMC tradition) :bounce:
Again, we forgot to take a picture of all of our cars together....
I can't believe that we did it again.......

Looks like a good time. Sorry we missed it. Maybe next year.
Could you please identify everyone in the group photo? Or are they trying to keep identities secret?

We attended the MCA national show in Youngstown, Ohio, over the weekend which is why we could not attend the Victor Ford show. We were fortunate enough to receive first place in class FGB [Fourth Generation Open (convertibles)] with our 1997 GT convertible. Sorry, had to best a few snakes for that one!

The Ford Living Legends Tour was at the show on Sunday. The magazine pictures do not do justice to the GT40 or Forty Niner; they are awesome cars! Two Mach 1 prototypes were there including the blue one that got stuffed into the tire barrier at Hallett during the SAAC Tulsa show. Repairs to the car were obviously hastily completed, as one fender had an '02 stamping date, the other '99, with overspray evident. The engine bay was black rather than body color. The engine had one black cam cover and the other was silver! The car was still impressive. Too bad it's not an SVT offering.
