I'm thinking about buying some chassis peices:

Strut tower Brace
Lower k-member brace
Bigger front sway bar
Rear shock tower brace

Where is the best place to buy these from, Kenny Brown, Steeda, MM? Does it even matter where you buy them, is the quality better one place over another? I want my car to handle really good, without making the ride too harsh. I am also thinking of upgrading my springs to maybe H&R super sports, I have the eibach pro-kit right now. What do you think the best mods are to buy to make the car handle great and not get too harsh. Thanks

a "which suspension is best" is usually like "which gear". it'll usually start a fight...LOL

i run the maximum motorsport stuff. subframes are beefier, k-member brace seems to be also. as far as shock tower braces go, from what i've read from [b]engineers[/i] who actually sat down, did a formula for a car doing 60mph with coilovers and the approximate weight of a mustang passenger corner to see if the tower would flex, with or without the strut tower brace. it wouldn't according to their formulas so i trust that and feel that it's probably unecessary. i did however, put one on my car. looks cool anyway...;) also, that's personally the only Kenny Brown piece i really like. the KB strut tower brace has been changed to where it mounts under the CC plates which would seem to me to brace that area of the strut tower much better then a brace attached to the front corner of the tower.
i wouldn't worry about a rear shock tower brace, unless all of a suddent you rear doesn't flex, bind or move. that's an unecessary piece for sure. (well, IMHO anyway)

there i managed to stay off toes i think.....

Very Good STEVE!! :D I'll just add that I have a complete KB setup on my Cobra and it handles awsome! I love it. I have no opinion on the other manufacturers pieces, BUT I know I would kick their butt on the the track! :D :D :D :D ;)

Any of the above companies supply quality pieces. The best thing for you to do is think system. Choose one of these companies, and purchase all the parts or a few at a time; but stay with one system. These companies have engineered their parts to work together, so your end results will be much more satisfying than trying to mix and match parts from various suppliers. Another company offering a suspension system for Mustang is Roush. They offer a well thought out, high quality package.

Yes, I agree with sticking with one company on the parts. Im thinking Maximum Motorsports right now. I am also thinking of getting the panhard rod setup and possibly the coilover conversion for my bilstein's. Do you guys have any feedback on those two parts. Is there a big benefit converting to the coilovers? They claim the panhard rod really helps for cornering. Where is Tom Lewis when I need him, he's the expert on handling right?
