New to the forum and just needed to say Hello. Have been behind the seans at shows and events, but when Vic's Automotive gets done with phase 2 mods I hope to hang with you all soon.

I'm new also. I have been posting most of my stuff on svtperformance, but I was looking for something local. I'm looking to meet people with similar cars in my area to check out mods and tricks. I'm going out of town tonight for 10 days, but I was hoping to make it to the next meet.

Check out this picture. It is in the Hooter's parking lot at the Nasa location. My car is the one on the left, my father inlaws is the red one and my buddy's car is the other blue one on the right.

Cool. I think that we will be going out to eat sat. 3rd. Then we normally head out to Spencer and red bluff. There is a Kroger parking lot that everyone hangs out in. nice 03 Evilcartman, we would love to check that out at one of our meets.. we are trying to standardize the meets to the 3rd weekend of each month..

Hi TcM-668, nice to have you aboard... we have been having floating meets, as in different each month... but we are pretty much trying to standardize it each month and have a meet on the third Saturday of the month somewhere on Westheimer....

we have also been talking about just getting some grub and hanging out maybe every other weekend, if you check the board, we basically will post all outings..

I'll be around the weekend. I have to make a lighting run back home Wed to drop off a 90 LX Conv 7-Up car for my father, but plan on coming back the same day. Was planning on trolling around and trying to find these folks out and about the weekend..

Got the Bassani exhaust on my R and it sounds positively wicked !!!

Ran neck-neck with a Supra Turbo running 16lbs of boost yesterday on 1960. first shot out, missed third, but was gaining on him in 4th. 2nd run from a rolling start, stuck with him all the way thru 3rd before traffic caused us to slow.

For a rice rocket, it is a pretty fast car. I'll give him props for that.

I gotta see about getting a chip for mine now.

I'll be out and about this weekend, so look forward to meeting some of you. That is of course if my girlfriend gives me a kitchen pass.

Any place picked yet to meet up ?

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Let me know if anyone has plans this weekend or would like to make some. I think Friday night I will be at the Barnes and Noble parking lot at Bay area and 45 south. Saturday night I plan on going out to the Kroger on Spencer. I normally go out to eat on both nights. I live near 45 south and the Beltway.
