Mustang Scotty,
We are having a "Cobra Meet" in Columbia, SC this weekend if you want to come, you are more then welcome. Feel free to spread the word to other Cobra owners.
It's just a annual meeting like we had in Charlotte in February, only it is for the SC group instead of the NC group. You are welcome to come and meet some of us on Sunday at 1:00 ish at Fuddruckers on Bush River Road.

Welcome aboard. I don't see a problem with having an 01 4V in a Fox Body.
Cheers,

Everyone for the warm welcome  :) i donno why but seems some people on another forum say im killing the Cobra life with having a turbo'd 01 in a fox body mustang :doubt: The Cobra i got my motor from was a wrecked 01 convert with 10k miles on it....checked the computer for code when i bought it and the motor never even seen 5000 rpms ;) But anyway again thanks for the welcome

What turbo are you running on the beastie, and are you running stock bottom end? How much boost?

Im running a single T-76 with between 10-25 lbs of boost, Running forged pistons/rods and stock crank and stock bore. Port work on the heads, intake and custom grind cam's :)

User control panel, title(?) I think is what changes the thing.
Did you go with the big turbo first, or did you step up to it? I would love to put a turbo on the '01, but have not seen anything with the kinks out yet.

ok thanks i will try it :) ......... I went with the big turbo off the bat (sponsor'ed by Total Performance) They are coming out with a turbo kit for the newer Cobras. You can check them out on the link in my sig...... You have anymore questions let me know and i can help you best as i can  ;)

Well, from the looks of the site, they aren't making anything for the newer Snakes. I'm looking for a turbo kit that will fit and work on the 01 Cobra and has proven reliability. I don't need to make monster numbers as much as I need to be able to make good numbers on a stockish engine with reliable long term operation.
