another stupid camaro

I was on 400 North on my way to work and saw a red 98 Z28 with really dark tint in my side view mirror. It looked like he was weaving through traffic to catch up to me and finally did. I was ready for him and dropped it in 3rd. He didn't even try. I slowed down and "arranged" it for us to have two clear lanes. He comes up even with me again. This time, I let him start it and he did. Once again I dropped it in 3rd and briskly passed him (I noticed he had offroad exhaust and a catback when he gunned it). Afterwards, I was about to get off the freeway and he pulls up next to me and yells out his window at me: "I bet you $500 I can beat you in the quarter mile!" I said I didn't give a crap and to get off with me so we could get one race from a dead stop. He followed and we had our race. Lets just say he didn't roll down his window to yell desperate things at me again.

Um, you should have told him to come to the SCMC drag day in the Fall at Carolina Dragway. We expect a great turnout this Fall.

Well I haven't had any Camero owners want to race me lately the last two I talked to both stopped me to say what a great looking car I had!!! And then there was another guy in a Trans AM who also told me the same thing at a red light!! None of them wanted to race though! :D :D :D So maybe all Camero and TA owners aren't B--- Heads! :D :D ;) ;)

oh, don't get me wrong, corvettes are will built cars, i mean i would buy a vette over viper anyday, but i profer a cobra over a corvette, because i'm a ford guy.;)
