Inside Drag Racing on ESPN

I caught the last 2 minutes of Inside Drag Racing on ESPN and they were at a show in Maryland. Right at the end they showed a red 99/01 vert with our sticker on the side. Who's was that? Was neat to see!! :cool:

That was my car with the SCMC logo on the door. All one second of coverage for the club!

I made four passes down the strip that Sunday morning, just made it back for the taping.

I just bought a house 6 months ago, and it ate my lunch. Turned out to be the Money Pit, and I'll NEVER get the $$ out of my car that Ive got dumped into it...So, until oppurtunity knocks...looks like me and Topless are a duo!
But, ya, the thought has crossed my mind more than once. I also would like a GTO! :cool:

Im not sure but i might have heard that...that would be a toughy.....I REALLY like the 'later' model early models...w/ the sleeker body...:thumbsup:
Do they have any 'pics' or anything of what they expect it to look like? I'm really curious to see...or have they talked about pricing? Not that I think I can run out and buy one. But I'd like to see how they are gonna do it. .Like bringing bach the Mach...It would be SOOO Cool to have one, but you just cant beat the originals...something about those 'original' muscle cars! :hail:

from what i know, the new gto well be from the holden commodore platform, it well be powered by the ls1 corvette v-8, backed up by the t-56 transmission, it well be a good replacement for the firebird, but for chevy, i don't know, maybe the SSR well replace the camaro.

The NMRA coverage on espn sucks!!! Who cares about big daddy's pick of the week (usually it's a chevy on top of that) :rolleyes: and then they have like 2 minutes of racing coverage?? Seems all ESPN wants to show anymore is football and baseball :rolleyes:
