Ok.. on my 96cobra i have recently just installed Steeda UD pulleys and a Steeda TA. 40 miles down the road after my check engine light pops on.. so im like ok wtf.. i have 2 chamber flowmasters and O/R h-pipe.. but i have the MIL eliminators to trick that problem.. other mods i have include 4.10 gears, 9mm racing wires, mac cold air, and pro-5.0 shifter.. also i am using 4w30 for my oil.. i plan on changing to 5w30 asap... does anyone know what a solution to my problem could be?..

Thanks,

Ben :D

Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and see what happens after you hook it back up. Worked for me!

You need to get the computer scanned to know why the MIL came on, there are SOOOOOO many reasons that can trigger it that you are shooting in the dark trying to diagnose what it is without that code. A ton of minor, nothing to worry about conditions that can trigger it to some serious, you need to get it fixed now conditions....

I believe Autozone can scan the code for you for a very cheap price or find someone near you who has an Autotap.
