Well I finally bit the bullet. I ordered a fix for the quadra-bind rear axle. With pressure mounting in the American Iron series, the limitations of the stock UCA/LCA 4-link geometry have made themselves known.

This weekend, John Pearson (thanks John) and I will be installing a Maximum Motorsports Torque Arm, Panhard Bar, and full length sub frame connectors on my car. Sweeeeet... :D

I looked at a couple of different rear suspensions but decided on the MM route. I have the pieces sitting in my house right now and the quality is awesome, to say nothing of MM's customer service. The welds look like they came out of a tube of toothpaste - smooth and consistent!!

I'll give a full report on the install and how the MM parts perform on the track. Can't wait!!

bryan, bout time punk!

watch tho, if jack and them haven't told you yet, you'll probably be experiencing a lot of understeer, now that the rear is planted. it's going to be a whole different car.

amazes me you've pretty much run that car bone stock.....

Don't cry John! :D

It's killing me man! I spend many hours a week on the road thinking about the car and what I'm going to do to it. I keep going full circle with what I'll do, but I'm pretty sure it involves putting the original Banana back on the track.

It won't be long...

See you guys next weekend, by the way. Jimmy and I will come visit on Saturday afternoon probably.

Tony, I've got some new front end bushings coming for my Mystic this week (hopefully). I'll take some pics during the install (unless I forget) and write up something for you for the newsletter. Is there a deadline?

You could do an article on a crazy guy that has two Mystics...
