1993 Ford Mustang Cobra #18 Teal w/ Grey Leather for sale. For those who are not familiar with some of the specifics of the 1993 Cobra history, the first eighteen vehicles were pre-production test and promotion vehicles used by Ford Motor Company in the development and promotion of the newly released SVT Mustang Cobra. Specific information is very limited on the vehicles and exact numbers of how many made it into public hands has been unavailable at this point but I do know that this is a very rare and unique find. This particular vehicle is Teal Blue w/ Grey Leather and has optional equipment of; sunroof, power seat, and rear window defrost. The known unique features of the pre-production vehicles are clear-coated engine bay, different casting upper plenum (no ridge on the driver’s face), and natural finish dipstick tube. The car currently has 93,000 miles but is in excellent original condition with all of the stock 93 Cobra pieces except the cat-back exhaust (2001 GT cat-back system installed), and Motorsport 9mm plug wires. The car has recently been repainted (stock paint was in great condition, but vehicle was keyed on the entire passenger side, photos prior to the repaint are available for verification) and looks beautiful with new emblems, mouldings, and lights. The interior is in mint condition and has the original “Cobra” lettered floormats, although the driver’s seat does show some minor wear. The drivetrain of the car is in excellent condition as well and completely stock. Everything on the car works including the ashtray lid and air conditioning.
