Just need to know. I've used this CD2 product I bought at Auto Zone, which leaves it nice and shiney, but it attracts dirt like a mad dog!!! Any ideas?? Thanks.

Simple Green and water mix on the engine, then Zaino tire dressing on the plastic and rubber. I do mine every couple months and it stays nice and clean.

I use Armor All's "cleaning wipes" on the just about everything under the hood i can get a hand on. Once i'm satisfied, i use Black Magic's tire wet stuff on the rubber, hoses etc. etc. (not the foam, and not the squirt bottle either). The stuff in an aerosal can. It may not be the best way, but just another idea. Oh yeah, it doesn't attract much dust or dirt at all.

I still get some dust, but not enough that it looks dirty. Just have to make sure the engine is cool, spray on the mixture and let it sit for about 30 seconds then hose it off.

Well I use this special stuff that is water base. It dries with a wonderful shine without that terrible sticky residue to attract dust. But the only downfall to it is...You guessed it...Water base...

I rub all the rubber and plastic with Back to Black, then I spray CD2. Bling-Bling!
