I am looking for an aftermarket hood insulator with the Cobra design imprinted on it. If anyone knows a company that is selling them I would appreciate the name. Thanks

Snake Eyes, try Texas Mustang Parts, or a Mustang Restoration Place. I have some names at home I can give you if that'll help you out. What year is this for?? Welcome to our boards, now tell us a little about yourself :D .

Casper,
I've got a 96 laser red Cobra with BBk throttle body, C.C plates, long tube headers, high flow cats, Dynomax mufflers, king cobra clutch, Hurst shifter, alum. drive shaft, Auburn rear end w/4.10's, billet axles, Eibach springs, blistien shocks, Energy Suspension rear sway bar, subframe connectors and the battery has been moved to the trunk. Dynoed at 268 HP. I am a technical coordinator for a centrifugal pump manufacturer in the Heights. I live in Friendswood. I use to race karts for several years but old age (48) and 2 back surgeries forced me to go to something with suspension. I have been auto-x'ing the cobra with the SCCA and have gone thru some driving schools at TWS in a formula Vee. I am planning on making it out to Joe Meyers on Sunday, this will be my first show, hope I don't embarrass myself. I was really impressed with the Cobras at the League City show a couple of weeks ago. Looking forward to meeting you and other members.

Jim,

Welcome aboard man! And by the way, 48 is NOT old! I just turned 44 and I feel like a kid again... since I bought the R.

I'd like to talk you some more about the TWS and SCCA events. I open track my R at TWS on a regular basis and I have been to Hallet once and I am going to the new course in Iowa at MidAmerica Motorplex in October.

I also did a Derek Daly Road Race Course earlier this year in Las Vegas. Four days of fun, two of them in Formula Ford 2000 cars!! Man, was that a blast!!!!

Again, welcome!

Thanks for the welcome, and Sherri thank you for being politcally correct about the age bit.
