Friends, I was thinking of adding an off road H-pipe with eliminators to my 99. I was curious if any one else with a 99+ has done this change?? If so how long have you had one on and has there been any problems with the eliminators or MIL.
Also, which eliminators from where are recommended for price and fit. I am not interested in the X-pipe.

thanks for your response.

I just ordered a pair of mils from Dallas Mustang today for $59.95 plus $9.00 shipping. That's about the best price you are going to find.

I have not put them on yet, I understand you sometimes have to trim a locking tab on the mil for it to snap in. Maybe someone else can let you know about longevity. I have not heard of any problems from other people who have used them.

I got mine from Houston Performance. Can't remember exactly how much they were?, Not sure where Steve gets them either...but they worked. I have the Bassani X pipe with the CATs on it and I was having trouble getting the R to pass inspection. We put the eliminators on and it cleared the "P1000" code on the OBD-II and then proceeded to pass all of the tests during the drive cycle.

I got mine from Brothers Performance. They are paired up with BBK Long tubes, BBK Shorty O/R-H. I've got the my old "Oil'd up" O2's in there still. The MIL's snapped right in, and they work as advertised. Zero codes, and no check engine light.

Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't the 99's and up able to turn off the cat sensor via the chip. Thats what I did with my '01 GT when I had the MAC ProChamber. You never have to worry about the MIL's shorting out or road debre tearing up the wiring.

That's where I've gotten mine, had them on for a year with no problems and the best part is they only cost about $25. There's a guy here in Houston who makes them think they're around $10-$15. I can find out his e-mail if you want. Let me know.
