OK fellas, I own a 99 Cobra with the following mods....

Steeda UD pulleys
BBK Cold Air kit
3:73 FMS gears
2 chamber delta flows
and a Kirban shorty shifter
MAC offroad w/ MILs is in process now.

just curious what would be my next step from here. I know eventually I will get a chip and tune, but is there something else I can do before that.....

Also, on Oct. 11th I'll be at Baytown anyone know what's a good RPM to Launch. I went one time and I can't take off for sh**.

Get a decent set of full length subs welded in. Max Motorsports or Griggs would be my first suggested brands, but others may recommend other brands. The Global West subs with the jacking rails come highly recommended from some people I trust as well.

If you frequent the drag strip, a set of drag radials or ET Streets would be a good investment. If you are looking for more power, go for a set of Kooks or Hooker longtube headers.

so other than subframes I gues my next route would be to maximize everything I have with a chip and tune....
I don't go to the track alot but maybe once or twice a year. I agree drags would help but the IRS is weak and I think I would need to go to solid axle. I like the ride quality of my IRS though so I don't think I will be changing that out.

IMHO, I don't think you have enough done to make getting a chip burned worthwhile. I'm basing this one what I have heard other people whom I trust say.

Maybe a timing adjuster?
