Pretty cool track, very challenging, and a little scary with all the blue armco...the elevation changes were new for me, very cool though, and next time, I'm doing 2 days...

Awesome! That looks a cool section of track. That's one of the tracks on my "to do" list also.

Thats the 'toe of the boot' my favorite section of the track :D

I'm going back next spring or summer, and I'll post the dates here and hopefully get a bunch of SCMCers to go :thumbsup:

Looks like you had a great time!

Did you have any in-car instruction or was it just a driving event?

Uggg, it seems ages ago since I've driven on a track.:(

There were instructors....the group that puts these events on is called PDA....They do a pretty good job, and since I ran on friday of a 3 day event, and it threatened rain all day, there werent as many cars as there are on saturday or sunday, so the groups werent too large....

Me, me, me, me, me...... I may not be into tracking like some of you other junkies but that track looks like a lot of fun to me. Gotta try it some day! ;)

Thanks for directing me here, Ken. As soon as we got our Cobra, Scott was itching to get some training and drive that track. We've spent our vacations in that area two out of the past three summers. There are so many things to do in that part of the country, and it's absolutely GORGEOUS!! As soon as anybody decides anything about dates for SCMC to go there, please let us know!! :cool: :cool: :cool:

bryan: I'd head up to see an AI event at the glen, hope they do go next season :thumbsup:

cheryl & scott: If we get enough people interested in running the glen some time next season, lets do it! I'll post the schedule when its available....and yes, lots to do up in that area, beautiful country, lots of lakes and vinyards...I've never seen so many grapevines in one place before, lol....
