The idea of a photo shoot has been tossed out in several different threads. Thought I would start one to work out the details. Need good location ideas, and it would be nice to scout out and get some advance pictures of the spots. Sometimes spots that sound good have no good places to park, lots of background clutter, too many people milling around, too much traffic, or other problems. Some of these issues can be minimized by shooting on the right day or time.
If we want digital pictures or normal (up to 8x10) prints, digital or 35MM cameras will be fine. If you want a large (8x10 or bigger) print, I have a Medium Format camera (6cm x 6cm negative size). I need to do some test shots with the MF camera ahead of time since I know at least one of the backs is leaking light (just don't know which one). The bad thing about the Medium Format camera is that negative scans are generally expensive. There is no reason we cant shoot with multiple camera's, we just need to plan ahead and have them with us.
