well I ordered my long tube headers on fri (bbk) and I was just wondering what gaskets and bolts to use?

When I put my FMC shorty headers in, I used new Ford metal gaskets and ARP locking header bolts. I haven't had any leaks at all. An inch pund torque wrench will make tightening the bolts down properly a lot easier, as well as some anti sieze on the bolts.

I had heard that the ford oem gaskets worked pretty good.

I used ARP bolts as well. FRPP gaskets were also used. No leaks, no problem. I didn't use any kind of thread lock either. And, i'm glad i didn't, cuz it'd be a pain in the *** to get them off if i did. My header bolts didn't loosen up at all (only 11xx) miles on them though.

Also, in case you didn't know, the longtubes require O2 extension wires. I ordered mine from Brothers performance Warehouse. I'm only sayin this cuz it didn't cross my mind til a few weeks after i ordered the headers.

ordered ford gaskets, total price was $52.40. should be here thur, glad you remeinded me, I have the folling coming hopefully this week, headers, h pipe, gaskets, mil eliminators. totaly forgot to order extenders.

oredered them from there yesterday. H pipe has come in so far and I go to pick up the gaskets today, hopefully the headers will be there when I get home, dont know whats taking them so long, ordered them on fri. Hell I ordered the h pipe tue and got it wen.

They look impressive that's for sure. I got my entire exhaust set-up from brother's performance. Everything works like it's supposed to. MIL's and everything. The extension wires are the perfect length and BBK's stuff lined up perfectly. Borla side exhaust is definately top quality as well. The combo makes up one agressive exhaust note.
