Silver Dollar: Friday, November 1st

Silver Dollar in Reynolds, GA (http://www.silverdollarraceway.com) is holding a Test n Tune night tonight from 6-10 PM. Weather is calling for highs around 60. Gates open at 5:00 PM. I plan to be there to find out if the fall off on my Cobra last week was due to the air or the car, and to practice for next weekend. If any of you decide to make it down, look me up. I will be the old guy with the rather stock looking 2001 Black Cobra. ;->

Actually, *I* wanted to go racing. The car had other ideas! It spent all day at the dealership and will have to go back next week to finish up what we need to finish. In the interim, no racing for me. *snif* And such a PERFECT night too! I really am starting to miss some of my earlier, simpler cars!

Oh, and BTW...your PM box was full last time I tried to send you something. ;)

Well, let's just say that when a Summit RPM module is bad out of the box, it is a PITA to figure that out! Add to that the Diablo chip is not optimized, and I decided it was best to wait until we got it all sorted out before I took it to the track. I do think it will all be resolved in time for next Saturday though! ;)
