I have seen this and the thought crossed my mind about attending, still a long ways away. I would like to attend this event if at all possible. It would be a awsome event to attend and will make a effort to attend. Hope it can work out that I can go. :bounce:

It's all just 20 minutes from corporate SCMC HQ. Maybe we can set up a tour of Corporate SCMC building? ......LOL! ;)

Of course there won't be any snow in August in NC/SC.

I'm sure there will be a LOT of Pace Cobras there as well. Maybe we should look into how much those 18 wheelers are that haul around Ferrari's so we can all take our cars up to this event. Wouldn't that make an entrance!!!! Think about the road trip for this one!! Getting goose bumps just thinking about it....WOOHOO!!

Road Trip would be awesome, especially with NO SNOW. I like it hot, the hotter, the better :')

Christine,

Wilmington takes about 5 hours from my house.

Sherri,

If it doesn't rain then I don't think you have to worry about it being cold here in the SE in August. Try 85 to 95 degrees. Of course we can always make it hotter for you if you like? ;)

That picture was from last year when we got about 6 inches of snow dumped on us, it was gone in a day when we hit the 50's. Snow is rare around here and when we do get it, it doesn't stay for very long.

Just a quick question for anyone....why is this being held in North Carolina and not Michigan?? I'm not complaining, I just thoght Ford's "heart" was in MI.

Ford's 100th is in MI, the SCMC's Grand National is in Charlotte, NC. The birthplace of SCMC. Any more ???

I just realized that the SCMC grand nationals and the Ford 100th are 2 seperate events. I'll be making a new post on each. Sorry for the confusion folks. :(
