A tour of the Biltmore estate is being planned for the weekend of Dec 7. NO time has been set yet, but will see how many are interested and we can decide at that point. for those who don't know, Biltmore was a home built for Geo. Vanderbilt and is absolutely breathtaking, and even more so at Christmas. Included will be a tour of the winery and gardens/greenhouses. There is an inn on the grounds for those that are willing to spend $$$. There is also the Grove Park Inn close by, also $$$. Othere than that, I will check out hotels in the area, there are plenty to chose from. You can check out the webssite www.biltmoreestate.com Let me know if you are interested: lmilstead22@yahoo.com

I checked on-line for the Biltmore and 12/7 or 12/14 are not listed, leading me to believe those date are sold-out. The possible dates (for all of us) are 12/6 & 12/13 (Friday nights) or 12/21 (Saturday night).

Update: I just called the Biltmore and they are booked for 12/7 & 12/14. So our options are to do the tour on a Friday night (hard for most to get there in time) or go on 12/21. Our schedule is open so 12/21 would work for us. Any ideas or thoughts???

The 21st works best for us also. We will check to see if we can get the dogs in the kennel. But I agree we need to make a decision and reservations ASAP.

I made our reservations for 12/21 at 8:00. The early viewing times are moving fast so I would make your reservations ASAP.
