Great dyno day. Not enough power from the '01. Had to buy an '03. Went to look at them, and ended up driving home a new '03, silver and black. This club is costing me too much money!:thumbsup:

Boy, you are hooked now. Did you trade in the 01 or do you still have it? You will have to give me a ride sometime. Enjoyed meeting you today and maybe I'll drop by Advantage and visit since it is soo close to my work.

OH MY David.... you told me you were thinking about it but man.. you must have had a bad itch... (you didn't find a dark shadow grey???)

is it a coupe with black interior or a vert with a black top???

CONGRATULATIONS MAN.... you will have to make the next outing so we can all check it out... (I guess we'll have to get some new pics for your sig)


OH BTW... as far as the 03's capable power... after almost everyone had left and the last car was getting dyno'd, a certain 03 owner showed up to get dyno'd... well he put down 500hp and 600tq (give or take 5)(NO NITROUS INVOLVED) to the ground... AND THIS WAS WITH HIS BLOWER BELT SLIPPING AND THE TIRES WERE ALSO SLIPPING ON THE ROLLERS @ PEAK TORQUE so it might have been more than 600. I will not say who it was cause I don't know if he'd want it advertised... his car is a monster....:eek:

NO WAY!!! Are you serious?!?!?!? All I can say is I'm incredibly jealous. Nice purchase. Let us know all the details of the new ride. What are you doing with the 01?? I want those rotors. :D Let us know David!!

Edmond, was it the one with many SVT vehicles in his stable!?!?!? I hope you got it on video, but I think your battery was running out. :( I'd like to see what he does on the track with a set of DR's or slicks. :eek:

Mike, no it wasn't Jeff who has the 97 and 03 Cobra, and the Lightning, it was after him.. it was someone else ;)

and for this run, I ran out and got my charger out of the car and hooked it up and with barely no room left on the CD, I managed to get a 10 second clip of his pull... I must say, his Cobra is one of the meanest and loudest I have ever heard.

He has 19in. high dollar rims on it and the tire only have like 1" of meat which leaves no flex in the sidewall... so with those tires, when he ran @ hrp slipping ALL the way down the track and still managed to get something like an 11.8 ish e.t traphing somewhere in the 120s, his tires are also street tires.. and this isn't even his fast "race" car, he also has a trailored twin turbo fox body..

Dammmm can't sleep! Trying to figure what to order first for the 03.. 500 HP Here we come!My wife drove it last night and just rolled her eyes and said she better up the life insurance!
Edmond it's silver metallic/DK charcoal and a coupe.Any intrest in the tires we talk about??$500+tax and I'll even have the guys put them on at the shop N/C.
The 01 was traded in to Joe Myers Ford. It was a sad moment....Sorry Mike the rotors went with the car.

$500 for 03 Cobra rims?? Damn, why couldn't I wait 2 months!!!!

If Edmond doesn't want them, let me know, those would look pretty sweet on a 00 V6. :D

Hold on....No No I'm NOT selling my 03 wheels... I have a new set of Goodyear F1-GS tires 245/45-17 They were going on my car next week but now I don't need them. I just want to sell them for my cost. $500+ tax Edmond has first dibs on them if he is intrested.Maybe I'll even throw in a car wash....HaHa

Hey, Congrats!!! btw: the only thing separating $35 dollars from $35,000 dollars is three zeros! ;)

Sorry I did not make the dyno day with you guys!:( I was busy getting my new business ready for an opening date of day after Thanksgiving. I DID however take the R out to play a little today... drove it to and from the store location on Westheimer. That was the first real drive in it since returning from MAM a month ago. Damn, I missed driving it!:) :D
