Those are some really nice numbers! And with the 4.56's, you're probably actually making 15-20 RWHP more than what is shown there!

Cool.... I like those 12 numbers with a naturally aspirated engine.

If you are interested, my latest dyno is Here (http://www.burtsonline.net/ken/images/dyno11262002.gif).

I just need to get her to a track and see if the rebuild of the clutch packs helped with the times. :D

Thanks for the replys.

Ken- Nice power. What was your E.T. before the clutch issues?

Thanks. The best E.T.'s were before the 4.30's. Best so far is 13.39 @ 105+ with the stock 3.27's. Since the 4.30's, I've had some issues with the car actually slowing way down. (.2-.3 and 5-6 MPH) We've rebuilt the clutch packs in the rear end with an extra friction plate and put the stock Ford fluid back in vs. the Royal Purple. Hopefully it will now lock up and put the power to the ground! ;) I just need to get her to a strip to confirm that.

So what brought up the possibility of the clutch packs being bad?? What I mean to say is: what made you think that it could be the clutch packs???

A couple of things...

People kept hollering at me to turn off my traction control when I did burn-outs. ;) Traction control was off.

A video showed the right tire spinning and blowing smoke, while the left just sat there doing nothing. Traction control was off.

The patch laid down when I did a high rev start with street tires was very black on the right side and could hardly be seen on the left side. Traction control was off.

When we took the clutch packs apart, there was absolutely no sign of wear in either. So, we assume that it just wasn't hooking up, or the Royal Purple fluid was TO slippery, and rebuilt the packs with an extra friction plate and put the stock fluid back in the pumpkin. The car now lays down two equal strips of rubber, and FEELS much stronger in the launch. I just need to get it to the track and confirm she is running as strong as she feels.

Well, it would appear that the weather gods are conspiring to keep me from finding out! Friday is the last day the little 1/8 track in Dallas is open. They are calling for up to 2" of ice tomorrow and tomorrow night here. I HOPE it will all be gone and I can at least test the Snake a few times Friday evening to make sure everything is as it should be. I would REALLY like to see some 1.8x 60' times and some VERY low 8's in the 1/8! Then I would know she was ready for spring drag day! ;)

I wish ya the best of luck Ken. Those numbers would be very very respectable for a street machine. Dang good for anything really.

I'll let ya know as soon as I find out for sure. ;) Right now, it is NOT looking good for Friday night! :(

Please do. I too am going nuts not having the beast running to it's potential (or not at all in my case).
