Well...... December is one screwed up month, most people have company Christmas parties, pandemonium shopping sprees, or relatives to visit. The third Saturday of the month is when we usually meet, but that will put us right on December 21st, which is not gonna work out for a lot of people.

So... this months meet will be held on SUNDAY 12/15/2002 . For the meet we will meet up in town and cruise down to Kemah, picking up those that live closer on the way. Then we will park somewhere safe at Kemah, spend time shopping, walk around, stare at the water and eat. And then if everyone wants to leave at once, cruise back. It being shopping season and cold, we will play it by ear.

Now... where does everyone want to eat down in Kemah???(keep in mind the cost, as not everyone wants to spend $50 a person :D )

some of the places I can think of are: (and how many votes they have)

Cadillac Bar - Mexican Food 4
Joes Crab Shack 2
The Aquarium 1
Landry's Seafood 0
Willie G's 0
Flying Dutchman 0

here is a link of the places to eat: Kemah Restaurants (http://www.kemah.net/dining/dining.html)

and the Kemah wesbsite with things to do and buy: Kemah Official Site (http://www.kemah.net/)

NOooooooooooooooooooo!!!! I can't do either weekends...DAMN!!! The 14th I have a bachelor party to go to, then on the 21st I have a X-mas party. Looks like I'll be out another meet.

On the good side, I found the white 03 with aftermarket rims we saw on Tues night. He's on Fordpower and said he'll join us on the Austin Cruise.

I will be spending that weekend in the woods with firearms. Not hunting, just shooting :D. I will probably be back into Houston by midday Sunday, but Kemah is too far to swing. You guys have fun.

Hey guys! I might be able to make this meet. I vote for Joe's :D Keep in mind we might want to eat before the dinner crowd. The wait will be long no matter which place we choose, if we go around dinner time.:( An early dinner would be good(for you guys who have to drive back to Northside and work Mon. morning).

I was thinking of cruising in and getting there late afternoon, and people can just walk around and do their thing, then at a designated time, we can all meet back at the chosen restaurant, and eat.. we can do our usual early dinner at around 5 for the eating time...

also, if alot of you like doing this, we can swing it into the meet rotation and do it every few month, and that way 1) we get in a good cruising distance, 2) its somewhere scenic 3) we get to pick a different restaurant and try all the ones people suggest that way every one gets to eat at their favorite.....

what does everyone think???

oh and be clear with your restaurant choices....

Mike was that a vote for mexican food???

Hey, All, why not do a late lunch, early dinner, say eat around 3 or so well before the dinner crowd starts coming. What time are we planning on getting there, Edmond? Got to have plenty of time to walk around and see stuff :-)

refer to a few posts up

you think 4:30 or 5 is too late to eat( get there around 3 and walk around shop)??? cause that way its not dinner time, and people get to walk around and hang out before we eat so that everyone doesn't just show up, eat and scatter...

that was the idea, I figured that way we would be more prone to drive back in a pack ... whatcha think???

It's my first time so I do not know the location of the warehouse?

What time do we need to be there?

Where do we meet up with the others for example, like the south side peeps?

Stan, warehouse is on the frontage road of 1960 and I 45 about 1/2 mile south from 1960, old Wal Mart, I think.

Edmond, I just feel we should eat at an off hour to avoid all the people since we have such a large group. Unless they take reservations, then no prob. Do they? If the shops start closing up at 6, I would like to get there a bit earlier as 2 hours isn't enough time to look in all the little stores :-)

Sherri, they take reservation, we can call it in, we just need to get a head count, and this way christine and steve might make it also, so just to be clear, we leave sometime noonish get there about 3... and eat at about 4:30 or 5:00, the restaurant is open till 10pm, so we can push it back or get there earlier if you think 2 hours isn't long enough to look at all the shops, but I have a feeling that after 2 hours most people will be bored of the shops.

Thanks for all the nice thoughts. We just got back tonight. We attended my mothers father's funeral, my grandfather. He was a great guy and is responsiable for my love for Fords. He left behind a Teal '93 Cobra that once things settle down, I'm going to try and buy from his late wife.

See you guys soon, and thanks again.
