Just gained some yards in......

Well after the ice storm here this week. I gained some yard in the back. I had two extremely large trees cut down and hauled off. That made the yard look bigger and now maybe the grass will grow in the back where the trees wouldn't let it?

Also, I was always dissatisfied with my neighbors trees blocking my crepe myrtles in the front yard. His pear tree fell over in my driveway and they came and cut it down yesterday. Maybe I can have some better blooms next year? :thumbsup:

Hope we don't have too many of these storms during the winter! :rotf:

Sounds like the storm was heck on the forest around there! I remember driving through Tennessee a few years ago after they got slammed with a big ice storm and the forest looked like a large number of F-5 tornados had hit it! Hopefully all will return to normal there soon. :eek:

The storm left almost 2 million people without power. If you go back and look, that's more then Hurricane Hugo did a while back.
