We are scheduled for an annual meeting and events meeting on January 4, 2003. We will be going to Victory Lane Karting of Charlotte, NC, an indoor karting facility with a 2 hour enduro race set up for us. The cost is $65.00 per person for the race.

I told them we would have 20 people there and not everyone uses this BB but if you plan to go to this meeting and plan to race then post here. If you just plan to watch or attend the meeting then just post that you will just be attending the meeting and not running at the go - kart facility.

We need as many SCMCers to attend this meeting. If you just want to come and see what our club is all about then feel free to join us on Saturday, January 4, 2003 at 12:30 pm on Tipton Drive in Charlotte, NC. Tipton Drive is at the intersection of I77 and I85. It's right next to National Depot, the Mustang vendor.

Dinner will be set-up at a nearby restaurant. :) Bring $$ for dinner!

I'll be there, also wearing bells!

How does this 2 hour enduro work? Is it like a two man team or is it just two free hours to run? My roomate isn't an cobra driver, but I would love to bring him along (we both autocross together, I think he would enjoy it). THanks

Dave

I think the way it works is the first team goes for 30 minutes and then the second team goes for thirty minutes and then back to the first and then the second again. I believe you switch and run for 2 hours straight?? I'm not 100% positive???

I'll be there Tony, I don't know if I'll run the carts or not, for some reason they seem to run slower with me in them! :D ;)

Ok, you can count me down for 2 drivers, my roomate is going to be there too.

I will be working on my car non-stop this week, gotta get it ready to ride! I have started puting mm rear co's, phb, and lca's on. I had an old flowmasters exhaust on and the tailpipes got yanked. I think I am going to go with a custom pipe from the mufflers back. I am probably going to do a side exhaust similar to what the 00 R has. Accept I am just going with the borla tip.

"Wrenching all week long" Dave

Have a happy New Year!

What time is the meeting, where is the meeting and can we get directions for us out of towners?

The meeting is at 4:00 pm at Carlo's on North Tryon Street.

From I77 north go into NC to exit 13A, I85 north. Take I85 North to exit 41, Sugar Creek Road. Turn right onto Sugar Creek Road and go down a couple of redlights till you hit 29, the same 29 that goes to the speedway. Hwy 29 is North Tryon Street, turn left onto Hwy 29. Go up a few redlights and you will see Carlo's on the right. If you pass Young Ford, you went too far. Sorry I don't know the street number. If you meet us at Victory Lane at 3:00 pm then you can just caravan with us up to the restaurant. Hope that helps out. ;)

Directions to Victory Lane can be found here:
