Picture? SCMC Message Forum- T&B's 98 Cobra ??

Just wondering when the change was made to the forum ---

??????

We've been "out of it" for awhile (out of necessity) and just noticed the picture of our car on the forum main page ....

we were just curious who's idea it was... Not that we mind, were flattered,

but a bit bewildered why our car was picked?

Everyone's avatar is on their own page at the top right. I have mine at the top, you have yours, and anyone else who has an avatar is on theirs. Your car is only on your home page but not on mine or anyone elses, does that make sense? Hope that helps out! BTW, glad to see you all back. :thumbsup:

however, am I starting out in the dumb mode?

On the very top of the message forum - on the top right, is our '98. Does everyone see a picture of their own car at the top of the message forum? You know next to the words "SVT Cobra Mustang Club" - to the right of it.

Yeah, I simply picked several good-looking pictures from the Member's cars section, and created a forum banner. The 3 up there were some of my favorite pics :thumbsup:

After all we went thru this year -
I guess we were just surprised to see our car up there.....

We didn't realize that some didn't know it was our "baby"....
This is my first time back since August and I noticed the picture right away....

Rich, you are added to my list of "hero's",
making this year a little bit better of a year than it started out.....

This means much MUCH more to me than you will ever know......
that car means allot to me (us) and having you put that picture there has a deeper meaning than anyone will ever realize....

It's sitting in the rain at the SVTOA Indy event in that photo. Just after the tornado's went through there this year! :D ;)

It was raining all day Friday and as I arrived on the south side of Indy I missed several tornadoes by about 10 minutes! I took me about 2 hours to go 30 miles to Kenny's shop. I was on the phone constantly with them getting directions around the city through back streets. IT WAS A MESS! Saturday and Sunday we had great weather and we had a great time at the track. Sorry you folks didn't make it. BTW I got the big dog award for the second year in a row for most RWHP at the dyno night at Kenny's shop! :D :D :thumbsup: :thumbsup: ;)

Tim's starting to get a little worried about changing the front end on Flash....

get this one... he doesn't want it to become too stiff for the streets. And, he still wants it to look nice on the inside (it will)...... Can you believe it? I'm trying to talk him into doing it, and all these years he's been begging me. I think he has really become quite attached to that car.....

and, I think I'd better just let him do whatever he decides his best.... right? right!

The K-member is one of the only things I haven't put on the car! I'm waiting to see if I'm going to get an older car or body in white for full track use and leave this one for my cruiser and show car? I love the track but I just don't know if I'm going to have a dedicated car. :D

Well I'll have new numbers this Friday!! :D They are putting a new pulley on the SC, Long Tube Headers by JDM, H-Pipe with High Flow cats and a four program flip chip! I'm looking for 525 to 550 rwhp and 400+ ft lbs torque! :D :thumbsup: I'll post the numbers after I get them along with the dyno graph. AND THANKS on the congrats! ;)

I love my car -
however, I love all Cobra's and I just didn't feel that "I" deserved this ....

however, Rich picked the picture because he felt it was right for what he wanted. Not because of "who's car it is"....

that is what makes the difference.
I am so used to people not liking what I have just because it's mine.... I've lived with it my entire life. I don't understand it - but I'm finally learning how to "deal" with it properly....
