This is the big event that is held at Lowes Motor Speedway. We have a primo spot on pit road. This is a BIG BIG BIG celebration of the SVT Cobra and WE are THE club of the event!!

I will soon post who has reserved a spot for the event.

if you have never been to autofair, it is a huge 4-day event. Clubs show, a car corral of cars for sale, car auction, and acres of items for sale.

and we have the spots in the tent and outside the tent on pit road!!:D :D :D :D

and lots of things are happening......

Thomas, if you want number 32 you can have it. :bounce: but we will now be explaining the conditions for the fair because the cost is so high. There will only be 75 medallions made up, extras will be used for show preregistration prizes. (They will be numbered from 1 to 75)

We're going to have to offer the following options for the fair. (This is a "one time only" AutoFair fee due to the 10th Anniversary of the SVT Cobra and our role in this special event, future AutoFairs will be free as usual)

I don't want people feeling uncomfortable about the price but it looks like $45.00 per person for everything so...........

Here's how it will work, you may pay:

$0.00 - This allows you to come to the event and show your car but you cannot compete for an award and you will receive a medallion but not a shirt. This is to offer a "free" spot for anyone who doesn't care about competing or buying anything concerning the 10th Anniversary but who just wants to support the SCMC and be part of the event.

$20.00 - This allows you to compete for a trophy and guarantees you to bring home a commemorative award. You will receive a medallion but not a shirt.

$25.00 - This allows you to purchase a shirt only, you will not be eligible to compete for an award but will be given a medallion.

$45.00 - This allows you to purchase everything, shirt, guaranteed award, and be given a commemorative 10th Anniversary medallion.

Please select your option and post here or e-mail me privately for which dollar amount you choose to pay. All money will be due March 15, 2003. Please include your shirt size when ordering a shirt.

Please make check payable to "SCMC" and mail to:

SCMC
1642 Huntmoor Dr
Rock Hill, SC 29732
(803) 371-0725
mrmach@cetlink.net

You must be an SCMC member to show at this event unless you have prior approval. Any member not attending this event may purchase a shirt for $32.00 each for sizes S - XL; $33.50 for XXL; and $35.00 for XXXL. This price includes the shipping and insurance.

Medallions are for AutoFair participants only and may not be purchased separately.

This is the logo that will be embroidered on each white golf shirt on the left chest. Logo will be about 2.5 inches in diameter.

Your dad is not on the list but he is now. I need to know his participation level and shirt size if applicable. We have corrected the medallion portion so everyone who comes will receive one.

Thanks,

Is he going with the 25.00 level, or $45.00 level? Thanks for the shirt size.

Are you going to CMP in three weeks? :doubt:

Tony

Put him down for the $45.00 level. If he doesn't like it I'll pay for it.:D Most likely I'm not going to have my car done in time for CMP. I just have to many projects and not enough money for anything else. I'm going to try and make it up to watch though.:(

We will now be meeting at the Speedway club instead of Carlo's Italian Restaurant. Dinner will run about the same price- $20.00 to $25.00 a plate. This is more convenient and the speedway is going to accommodate us more.

I dropped my car off yesterday morning. There were only a few cars in the tent but they were great ones. A 93 Cobra R, 94 Cobra Pace-car and 95 Cobra R all with ZERO miles, they still have the plastic on the seats and all of the stickers/tags from the factory. I was in heaven. Daniel just arrived with his 93 Cobra R and there was a 00 Cobra R (I can’t remember his name) on the other end.

On the way out I stopped to talk to the folks in the SVT trailer. Really nice people. Janine was on the outside of the track waiting for me and I was going to have to walk all the way out to meet her. The woman at the trailer said she would give me a ride in the Lighting and drop me off. We walked over and her husband told her to give me the keys and let me drive. :D Dang those 03 Lightings are nice.

How we are going to handle what?

So the people from Ford/SVT can vote on the cars, but not the owners in the tent? I don't understand that one. Everyone should be able to vote on the cars, but the cars in the tent are not to be judged.

You should have your e-mail explaining this weekend by now.

Honestly, I don't really care how we do the voting. It was just an idea. You and Lisa are handling that anyway so you do it the best way you know how that is the fairest way.

Bobby and I have to go and chat with other club representatives about the Centennial Celebration so we will be tied up all day. ;)

Let's just have a good time together.
