Ah yes... snow... I wish we had some (did I actucally say that?!?!) We've been TERRIBLY dry here in Iowa... warm too. Last week (1/8) we had 68 degrees! This morning, it was 6 degrees...but STILL no snow...
Besides, that's the advantage us "Northerners" have... learning how to drive on all that slickery stuff makes us better track drivers... wet or dry, hot or cold... even with the snow and slush on the track... right Bonny?? :D
All y'alls be careful where you DO have the snow ... don't play TOO much "auto hockey"!

that is a gorgeous picture!!
were still waiting for our first snow........
we've only had a dusting and I hate to say it, but we are looking forward to a good ole fashioned blizzard!!
Ya know,
snowball fights, building forts ....
holding the snow on your glove and looking at all the different types of snowflakes...
:)
snow blanketing the trees causing the branches to droop in beautiful white .......
freezing our fingers off,
looking in your rear view mirror and wondering if the guy behind you is gonna be able to stop....
watching someone else out of control heading directly towards you.
Salt all over the roads -
Cobra's unusable .....
4 wheel drives and front wheel drives usable - but still unstoppable on the ice....

ah yes -
adventure!
thats what I keep trying to tell my son-in-law,
he grew up in California...
sometimes - we find him going outside in a t-shirt, shorts, no socks -
but hey, isn't a jacket enough????
he will get it.... he helped Tim to move all the cars around so that we could get Flash out and loaded on the trailer. I told him to dress warmer and I thought he did.... he came in shivering and I asked him why he didn't dress a little warmer....
he said, he didn't think it would take so long........ sheesh, we had to move a truck and four cars out of the way....
I love him !!!!

It's cold in East Tenn...at least by East Tenn standards. It will hit single digits for the second night in a row.
We had around 4 inches of snow in Knoxville...just enough to mess things up for a couple of days.
In any event, too cold for me!

talking about cold..
its actually bitter !!
the windchills are below zero.....
what makes it even worse is that we do not have any snow for ground cover - that will be harmful for the plants, they will struggle in the spring..

I'm afraid when I get home I won't be able to get the car into the garage! :( :( :( I HATE COLD WEATHER AND SNOW! And to top it off more snow is predicted for Thursday and Friday of this week! :( :( :(   Time for the sunny south to be sunny and WARM!

get a second opinion on that tube - there are other ways .....
I am going to the Univ. of Loyolla today for some tests ... the doc thinks they might have something new for me with my Menieres disease -- I have it in both ears and have pretty much dealt with it since I was little...
so, anyway BD - there are some medications that you can take for that if it is only temporary... a tube sounds kind of drastic. Have you had it for a long time?

I guess long is a relative term it is going on three weeks now and it is bulging against the ear drum. I'm taking Alegra and doing nasal spray but neither have helped dry out the fluid! I guess I'll wait until Wednesday to find out what they want to do.
