Finally got my car to a dyno after changing the pulley on my E-trim to a 3.125 and installing the AFM powerpipe. First off, let me say I never expected to pick up 6psi going from a 3.3 to a 3.125 & AFM PP but that's what I got, I now have a whopping 14psi to play with.

1st run- 485rwhp/420rwtq A/F @ 7400rpm 12.5/1

3rd run- 503rwhp/465rwtq(25shot) A/F @ 7200 12.6/1

JMS has my rev limiter set to 7500 but I backed out on the nitrous run early.. no sense in pressing my luck :D

This was still using the 8psi tune, I don't know if anything else can be gained by retuning since the A/F #'s looked so good.

I'm still pleasantly surprised with the outcome...

Joey are you still using the stock internals... Nice numbers BTW.

Haven't seen you around much lately?

Is that A/F ratio on the dyno or on the street? On the dyno isn't that a tad high as once you put the car under load (on the road) you'll really be seeing an A/F of 13.0-13.5 if it's 12.5 on the dyno.

Other than that....VERY nice numbers....

all stock internals Bad Pny

Tom, until about 7k rpms the a/f was well into the 11's, matter of fact from 4750 to 7k it was between 12.0 and 11.1, at 7k it was still at 12.0/1. I'm not sure if what you say is true or not, never heard anyone mention that but I don't hear alot :)

It's when the engine has to actually move the car vs. just spinning the dyno-rollers....this is known to cause your A/F ratio to change between .5 and 1.0 (+) over what your dyno A/F ratio was.....

Unfortunately for me I wasn't aware of this until after my dynotune and I flatlined at 12.5:1 from about 5,500-6,500 where we ran out of fuel. This basically put me running up to 13.5:1 A/F when on the street and bye-bye engine!!!

Excellent numbers....and the tune sounds good to me.

I'd have to agree with Tom on this one too. On tuning with my "four banger car" several reputable tuners said that you really didn't want the A/F going much about 11.80. After that you'd be running on the ragged edge and be looking at detonation... which would ultimately spell disaster.

But nice numbers too Joey. I'm with Greg... you coming to the Spring Drag Day?
