I posted the following poll on the Street Modified list located here:

"How many people here would be encouraged to run their car in SM if the bolt in K-member was clearly allowed?" Please tell us your story, just trying to get an idea of the magnitude of this"

The issue is that street modified class Mustangs cannot clearly have an aftermarket k-member installed (gray area of the rules, soon to be clarified and addressed), when most other cars have a pretty decent front end... and the k-member is such a popular upgrade item for street and track, due to the tremendous benefits in fixing the front end geometry.
