Saleen hood clearance on 98 Cobra motor>>>

I was looking around for different hoods and I came across one at Mustang Parts Specialists that is their "Saleen Heat Extractor" replica. Well I called the guy to see if it would clear the Cobra motor and he didn't know:rolleyes: Anyone have any experience with these hoods and know if it will actually clear?

I saw a few years back, a 1998 saleen cobra with a vortech blower, and it had the heat extractor hood on it. So i'd say it would fit.

That's what I was thinking. I found some pics online of 96-98 Saleen Cobra's with the hood. The "Saleen heat extractor style" hood from MPS seems to be about the same. It's got a cowl to it much more than a factory GT hood from the same year which we all know won't fit.

Eric Greene's 97 Saleen Cobra came w/ the Saleen lightweight heat extractor hood and it clears his blower and power pipe.
