Hey everyone,

Who is going with NASA this weekend to VIR. I will be there working/interning. I'll probably be all over the place but I should have some down time to say hi!

I wish my car was ready...dang front cover leak!!!

Oh well, I'll just have to catch a ride with an instructor or something.

Later
Dave

Umm, pardon my ignorance, :D, but what is NASA? and the VIR schedule shows that its not a spectator event, so if I wanted to come watch, how would that be possible?

-Retarded (for BD)

Come up on Sunday and check out the enduro...I don't know if it costs anything. I'm interning for them this season...I'm checking them out for the first time this weekend. See ya

Sunday is supposed to be cloudy and cool, and I don't have any plans, so if you see a red vert on the hill by the U shaped turn, that would be me. What time you guys get under way and can we roam the paddock area? :D

I'm there in the Intermediate group. Don't see familiar names among the bunch, other than some of the BMW M3 guys from last run at Lowe's MS.

J. Pearson, I have my camera mount now and will bring a camera. That last tape you made for me with your camera was AWESOME.

Sorry, if I ask too many questions, but I need to have my bases covered in order to convince the other half of my party to tag along. :D How much would it cost to be a spectator? I'd check the website, but your link doesn't work and the link from virclub.com isn't working as of now (I might be behind a firewall here at work, not sure) :( Plus, it's no fun to pull up somewhere and bust out with my Yao Ming accent, "CanIwrite check?" :D

Just tell them you're in someones pit crew if they ask. I think it would be ok to use Dave Stanfield or Jimmy Bost as driver names, right guys. http://www.virclub.com/ the NASA site is down for some reason.

Yeah, I'm only going to have one person with me, so you can use my name.

LOL, if you need 'em, you're welcome to use them. Got this nice Craftsman set for Christmas so I could get rid of my smaller, rusted set. :D They need to be broken in.

J. Pearson, I won't have my camera, battery problems. Though, I may have time to go shopping Saturday if the track is too wet.

If anyone can take any digital pics of me I'd appreciate it. #17. I can't get a digital cam for the weekend.

Today (Sunday, 23rd) at VIR, awesome! Windy but did dry off to get three great sessions in. Then the 3 hour Enduro race. Didn't see all of it.

Tried the Carbotech Panther pads in front, they did the job for me. Really let me dive hard into the turns with short slowing distances.

Had a great time, didn't hurt the car.

That is great!! Glad you got some good seat time in! And I'm glad the Panther pads work well. I'm running those in back and Carbotech's newest Panther + pads in front for CMP. Hopefully they will last the weekend! :D ;)

Dave, your car was too much for my little camera. :D I think every shot of you was blurred. But I'll check through them tonight and post the good ones. Wind was terrible, but I staked out for a good hour at #4 and saw two cars eat it. An eclipse went mudding for a bit and a bright yellow Integra type R pulled a 360 right in front of me. It was fun watching little sentras and civics battling corvettes and cobras.

OK, forgive the camera, it didn't have any optical zoom so this is the view I had from the fence.

Anyone recognize this mystic? :D
