my buddy is letting me borrow his M/T 28x9x15(i think that is the correct size, i know the 28and 15 is right)and i was wondering if my stock rear-end w/4.10's would be able to handle the slicks?

I'd think the more appropriate question would be... "Would my clutch handle the slicks??" I think the rear would hold up. Continued abuse will roast out the clutch, maybe U-joints, driveshaft, torque boxes, trans..... And, eventually the rear would probably go. I think borrowing them for a trip to the drag strip wouldn't be too big'a deal. The clutch will be the biggest worry if it were me though. Bolt them on, and let'r rip!!

Heat 'em up, rev to 5k RPM, and dump the clutch!
