Had Randy from True Blue Performance meet me at ATS in Columbia to use their dyno equipment to tune my car today....
I need bigger injectors...42# with 4:1 FMU just barely gets me by and I'm giving up some control and some power. 55# injectors and no FMU will be the next mod my car receives...
With that said...after a few pulls, a few tweaks on the chip and bumping my KB boost-a-pump 1/2 way on the dial (KB boost-a-spark at 100%)...
569.7 rwhp & 463.7 rwtq
This is a safe tune hitting 6,800rpm with 11.7:1 A/F max, and peak horsepower at 11.6:1 A/F at 6,700rpm and peak torque at 10.3:1 A/F at 6000rpm.
Randy said with some 55# injectors but keeping everything else the same I should see 600rwhp easily.

How much do you want for those 42lb injectors?? I'm in the market for them. I need them, and a MAF. Those are some crazy numbers Tom. I was thinking that you'd never put that beast on the dyno. Also, don't ya think that 11.7 a/f is a little up there? Or is that okay? I just noticed that you've stressed taking into account the possible +.5 to +1.0 on the a/f ratio. Is 12.7 a/f on the street okay?? I just don't know, so i'm asking for help. Randy will be tuning my car as well. I just need some rails, in line pump, and at least some -8 feed lines. :)

Anything below 12.0:1 should be fine, in the peak range as you spend very little time there. I trust Randy with where he tuned it...he thought it was "heading lean" so we didn't spin the motor any higher. With 55# injectors I should be able to turn 7,200+ rpms and gain that extra 30rwhp.

I still can't believe that you got those numbers. 600rwhp will be even better. That' flat out bada$$. Especially being on a "safe tune". You've got one awesome ride Tom. One awesome ride for sure. So how bout those injectors :D?

heh heh...no idea right now on the injectors because I'm in no hurry/position to do anything yet. This is my only car....I can't afford the down time right now to send my MAF to be recalibrated for the larger injectors. I also really don't want to spend any more money on the car. Then...add on top of that the need for another dyno tune to account for the larger injectors, recalibrated meter and no FMU.....it's going to be a bit of money for me to do all of that.
Seriously you might want to just jump to 55# injectors since you need to get injectors and a meter anyway.....it's not that much more expensive for 55# over 42#s.

You think so?? I won't be anywhere close to the numbers you're pulling. I'm shooting for 500rwhp and 400rwtq. That's it. But, I would love to have a fuel system that I won't have to worry about. I'd like to get a fuel system that'll support what I've got all day long, and then support me later down the road if I decide to pump up the boost. Thus far, the only thing outa the norm for my engine is "cleaned up heads/intake". These are not ported, just brushed up by a local machine shop. I'm still in serious need of about $5000 to finish the pig up it's looking like. I'm working on it, but pay days are just way too far apart. :) I emailed the "Muscle Motors" guy, and he said I should get the Aeromotive 1000 HP fuel system, and just get the 4.6 rail kit w/ press regulator. That's with the sumped tank and stuff. What do ya think about that? Personally, I think the guy is just trying to move a whole kit on me, and not helping me piece together what's best for me, but i'm not sure.
