I stopped by a couple of weeks ago when I was working in Birmingham and it is very impressive. I'm working on getting some $ numbers for next year. I'll post the cost when they contact me.

Let's see if it is in our budget for next year. We need a decent weekend in the Fall or something. We'll still keep the CMP event as we already have sponsorship money committments to us and we will not drop CMP for another track when we get those dollars. ;)

Greg, do some homework and let's see if we can't get a weekend there next year??:bounce:

Tony,

Do you know the date for CMP next year? Just curious...I have a wedding in the spring and want to make sure it won't interfere. Thanks! :)

Don,

It will be in March like this year. Probably the same week but if you know ahead of time and I can change it to fit your schedule or the majority of the members' schedule then I'll book that week.

Greg, get the information ASAP because we need to get in on the ground floor, please!

Thanks!

I love that picture Tony! There's nothing like Road Atlanta at 6:30AM with all the cars lined up outside the gate. :bounce: :bounce:

This weekends Panoz event is the one year anniversary of the death of the banana... :(

Okay Tom,
I wasn't going to post this because I didn't know how you would feel but since it's the one year anniversary. Maybe this will bring back good times instead of sad ones!

Is that Tom giving a point by? That must have been in his early days of driving...cause you know that wouldn't happen now!! ;)

ROFL!!! Man, I go away camping and come back to people talking about me!!! :)

That was my early days, and in the rain to boot! That was one of probably 5 times I ever got passed at RA. It rarely happened, especially there.

Now though, with the Focus, it's more of a left arm workout than a driving lesson. :D

Barber looks like a sweet place to get some track time. If we can get it, I'm there!

In the past few days, Speed Channel aired at GT race froim the Barber track in Birmingham. Looked like a great track, similar to Road Atlanta, with hard walls nearby, as well.

I'm game.
