June 28? So are we trying to set a standard for shortest notification for a car show or something? :p

John, do you need any help? It's kind of late to mail out flyers. I've got the date locked in and I'm willing to lend a hand. Let me know.

I'm not sure what's up. Maybe Bobby Cox will chime in here.

Originally we were set up for a "cruise in" at Earl Tindol Ford but Parkway being a new dealer coming in with the SCMC wanted to do a mini-show before the Centennial event. Earl Tindol Ford agreed to have theirs in late September after the Centennial.

There are some financial reasons for doing this, positive not negative, so we are going ahead with a four week plan and hopefully next year we can schedule it much more in advance. Remember, Parkway is just now getting on line with us and they wanted something to happen as soon as possible. I think we can get some cars there as well as have a good turnout. Our reputation is starting to spread about our shows. Basically, for $10.00 you are buying your lunch and the show is free or the other way around. Now, if you want to help, you can go get some raffle prizes for the show and that will help out a lot! Contact local vendors or vendors you use to buy parts from and ask them for a goodie prize. That would be a great help to us. Oh yeah, spread the word so we can have a good turn out.

Thanks,

Black Snake

Tell the Lightning guys there will be a specific class just for f150s and Lightnings. Can you help out like you did last year?

I hope so from what these weather people say some times it'll probably be sunny and 90 tomorrow instead of rain and 80. Just wanted to see because i'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and don't want it to be spoiled by some rain. I had been watching the weather all this week and for how all the changes they made had me alittle concerned but i'll be there either way.

Was worried it would be a wet day cause the drive from Black Mtn was terrible.

But the day at the show was cloudy, and Im actually glad it was. It would have been miserably HOT. I still got my face sunburned though.

Got to meet a lot of nice people. There was only the two of us that had 03 Mach 1's but it nice to exchange stories with the guys.

Thanks again Tony. Maybe next year will be even bigger.:bounce:
