SAAC 28 results

Some of you know Kevin and a couple of others brought their Shelby CSX's down to Nashville for the SAAC 28. Some really nice cars out at this event. It threatened to rain all weekend, but finally decided to on Sunday, race day.

Kevin qualified second, they moved the race up to early morning to try to dodge the rain, but halfway through the race it changed it's mind and started up. Kevin did the "slow and steady" approach, the leader spun on the back straight, and Kevin took the win.

FYI, the superspeedway infield is actually pretty fun, and you can pick up some really decent speed. July4,5 is the local Mustang club track event, I'll be there for that, and have a couple of extra rooms here at the house for anyone who'd want to swing out...

I've got like 5 pics, I'll edit them kevin and email them out one at a time, they're large file shots. I'd have taken more, but I hopped down off the top of the trailer just before AC spun.

Have to check with Tim or Gary. Either Steph or Tara stayed up there taking some pics before the rain really started coming down. Those are edited versions of the 5 I have.
