2003 Cobra throwout bearing noise

Hello folks - I'm new to the list. I just got a 2003 Cobra with 8000 miles - it's a great car! I have a question - has anyone had any kind of throwout bearing noise? My car has a short squeal, but only occasionally - usually on clutch release. The clutch does not slip and feels fine - just sometimes noisy.

I drive this car fairly easy (no speed-shifts) and the guy that had it before me did too. I use the dead pedal faithfully so as not to ride the clutch. So, I'm surprised there would be a problem with this few miles.

Been quite a few reported problems with the TOB in the 03, suggest you try the svtperformance.com site and click on to the 03 forum link and then go to the search enter TOB you'll get all the info you need:thumbsup:
