Knoxville TN 1/8 mile drag day

Posting this in the lounge as details are still being worked out. A drag day is being planned at the 411 dragway in Seymour (located between Knoxville and Sevierville) for Sunday July 20th. Anticipated cost is $15 to race, free to spectate. If you are interested in attending this event, please post here, email, or PM me so that I can put together a rough estimate on number of cars racing to present to the track officials. 1/8 mile only.

What are the track requirements for verts?

For the most part IHRA regs. Faster than 9.0 normally requires a helmet. For this event, unless you are planning on being well into the 7s (in the 11s for 1/4 guys) something like that there will be no regs. 411 is pretty lax in general and more so for this private test date. You will have no problems

They sure are F bodies are crawling out of the woodwork. Sunday July 20 is the date JTCOBRA, if you come you get in free. be ready though, Kevin has added new heads and has 12 bolt now He'll be on ET streets. The track is probably going to be slick due to all the street tire cars too. Come on out SlowCobra, we may be able to scrounge you up some treads. Hey its free to watch.
