All I can say is another rainy day and we were prepared for the worst but guess what? We had record turnout with around 75 cars and they just kept coming and coming and coming.....

There was just too many cars there that I had to keep counting them because I lost track. We gained 5 new members and everyone was enjoying the event.

The dealership was great! They were very accommodating and provided everything they said they would provide. I would say it was safe to say that it was an extremely successful event.

Thanks to the many SCMC members who helped out at the event. Special "thank you" to John, Diane, and Lindsay Pearson as they did the biggest majority of the legwork. Thanks Banana Man for the sponsorship prize, I believe Rick really liked winning it. Thanks to True Blue and the many sponsors that supported us. A big thank you to Rich Riley for doing the "head judge" thing and to anyone else I may have missed.

Thank you David Brown and the folks at Parkway Ford. You were an extreme pleasure to work with and your enthusiasm is second to none!

For those of you that missed the show..... well, let's just say you missed a good one. Record attendance for any SCMC show. The dinner afterwards was really good too! It was nice to relax, drink some sweet tea, and converse with fellow members. Thanks to all of you for a pleasurable experience!

Excellent show and a huge thanks to all who worked to set this up. This was our first show and we had a great time. We enjoyed checking out all the cars, what mods folks recommend or have done and talking to reps there from True Blue and Banana Motor Sports;)

I was really thrilled to win the rollbar. Since I have a vert. and after seeing a flipped Miata last month I had decided a bar was in the near future. Now it will be in the very near future!:D

:what:
I do have one concern on the rollbar. Does anyone know if the Banana Motorsports garage has been disinfected? Just how contagious is this "Lewising" disease? Will my car catch this just being in the building or is it spread by contact with "The Lewis"?What is the incubation period and the early symptoms?

Sorry I just couldn't stop myself!:grinangel

I wanted to be there....I broke a clutch cable on the way out of town. Luckily I was only 1/2 mile from the house....

ROFL @ Rick!

I guarantee that "Lewising" is highly contagious but I'll try and remove all traces of the ailment before you come down. Plus, your car is too nice to "Lewis" at this point. Give it another couple years and miles before that happens. :D

As far as the show goes... it was awesome! There were some beautiful cars there. All the way from the extreme to the plain stock.

It was great meeting lots of new folks and hope to be able to enjoy y'all's company again in the near future.

John, Diane, Lindsey and Lisa: GREAT JOB! YOU GUYS ROCK!

Is the Young Ford show in Charlotte replacing the Parkway Ford show we had this year?

Thats fine by me. Charlotte is a tad closer.

Also I plan to be at the 40th in Nashville, and the FFW at Bristol next year and a few smaller shows.

Parkway Ford is on August 28, 2004. Young Ford is on May 22, 2004. Both will be great shows! You know we try to give everyone their money's worth at our events! :bounce:

BTW, I spent 4 hours cleaning up my 94 Cobra coupe today and it is still dirty from all of the rain we have had the past few monhts.

;)

Okay, thanks Tony.
I didn't see it on the home page so I thought maybe it had been canceled.;)

Then I will have to add that to my shows to attend.

4 Hours and still dirty. Im lucky enough to have another car to drive in this snow and salt.
But I did take the Mach out last week just to rinse it off since it was a pretty day. Dried it off, then headed home only to find out it was covered with the salt dust from the roads.

Ended up having to go over it again. And I learned something else. The local car washes soap leaves spots!

How do you know if your finished detailing your car?

If you guys are like me I can never get my car the perfect way I want. Everytime the sun moves, I find a smear:eek:

LOL:rotf: I hate when I do that.

So far Im seeing a 3/4" drop. Do they settle?

I bought the MRT springs over at Stangnet's ProShopper and I found the Tri-ax shifter over on Blue Oval News forum.
Springs=$175 and Tri-ax=$115.:D
Call me sometime at work. I will be off thursday - monday.
