2003 Mustang Week at Myrtle Beach

For those that don't know the dates its the last full weekend in July. The set-in-stone events are a Nascar Cafe Cruise In at Broadway at the Beach, Thursday evening, July 24th. Friday, the 25th, there is a cruise from MB to Darlington Dragway for a Mustang / SVT / Ford-only dragnight. You can meet at Darlington that evening for the dragnight as well (if you aren't able to get to the beach any). And, Saturday July 26th, there is a large late-afternoon and evening cruise-in at Myrtle Square Mall, on HWY 17.

From what I've seen/heard, this year is going to be BIG!!

It's been out of the shop....BUT it does go in this weekend and I'll have it back with the new engine before Mustang Week!! :D

The whole family is coming down...Wife and both boys...It should be interesting for all of us in the Cobra!! ;) ;) We are trying to find a Condo but it's not looking good. I guess I'll be staying at one of the hotels in the area.

Craig ARE YOU COMING?? Will you're car be able to make it?? ;) ;)

I'm thinking about it. Just got back from there last week. Gawd it's packed on the "strip". The roll cage is in, but I need to cut and put the interior pieces back in. Let me know if you find a clean place to stay. We might just head down for a couple of days.

What are you doing to the engine now??????????? Leave that monster alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good to hear you guys are coming down!! Greg, I'd like to hear about your present motor adventures as well.

Also, you guys need to contact Holiday Sands South, and tell them you want the Mustang Week special rate. They were offering rooms on the beach for $86 + tax per night. Do a search and you'll find there #. A boatload of us are staying there. It's on the beach near the MB airport.

Hey guys thanks for coming out and here's a link to some places to stay http://www.mustangweek.com/photo3.html The Radisson Plaza Hotel Myrtle Beach Convention Center has 24 hour security, covered parking – accessible with room key. Thats where i'm staying

Ill be coming down on the 25th with my wife. Ive got alot to do before then but hopefully I will be in the freshly painted car. Here are some teasers. Are any of you meeting up during that weekend anytime. Im no longer a member but enjoy hanging out with fellow enthusiast!!!

I'll be down there with the wife and kids...I may NOT be in my Cobra just depends on wether or not my engine is installed in time. (I HOPE!!) :D :thumbsup:

WELL....July 5th I took it down for the new forged block and then I'm having the FR500 heads, cams, etc put on, a Canton Oil Pan, a SPEC Stage 3 Clutch and Aluminum Fly Wheel, the Kenny Brown K-member installed, and 55Lbs injectors. Then they have to Dyno Tune it....I don't know if they'll make it! :(

Its a modified version of sonic blue.

If you mix sonic blue per spec to the original color it has a bronzeish looking pearl and blue pearl already in the paint.

SO I had my paint guy mix sonic blue up then add more of the blue pearl thats already in it and also add some violet pearl to it. The color is really awesome The pictures dont do it 100% justice!!!!
