There is a tire shine out called Onyx Tire Shine. I have been using it on our stang for a few years now and it is the best tire shine I have seen. It makes an instant deep, dark, wet looking gloss without running or dripping, and stays dark for weeks. Smells good too. Happy cleaning.;) :D

RJ, I recently bought the tire shine you are talking about. It goes on great and will not sling off if you follow the directions. Good stuff:thumbsup:

Im currently using Eagle 1's Tire Swipes till it runs out.
I have a new box of Meguiar's Endurance Im going to try soon.

I personally like the tire to be black, but not shiny.

Any ideas.

I just got thru going over the engine, hoses, and plastic with some Meguiar's vinyl & rubber protectant and its awesome!
And again its not so greasy like Armour All.

Dennis try Zaino Z-16 Perfect tire gloss, it does not make your tire shiny it looks clean and black:thumbsup: It also will work on all your hoses and exterior plastics.
If you are at the Friday show (7-25) I will show you how it looks.:D

I get this result with Eagle One WET Tire Spray (but it should work with any good tire treatment).

Spray the stuff onto a sponge and then apply to the tire using the sponge (Eagle One has some tire shaped applicator sponges ) until the tire is black and glossy. Let it sit for a while, then come behind with a dry towel and wipe the tire off really good. You should be left with a black, but not glossy tire.

Once heard Zaino Z-16 described as a "medium gloss concours tire dressing". As already said, it gives the tire a nice, fresh, new tire look...not glossy. It also has a UV protectant as well as an anti-static to help the tire stay cleaner. I also use it on the plastic wheel well liners and textured black plastic surfaces. Like all the Zaino products, use very small amounts.

I think Formula 2001 works the best when applied on a piece of cloth
