I'm thinking about a trip to Byron. Nothing fancy, just a test and tune day.

Anyone interested? Let's try to figure out which Saturday to go.

Edit:
We decided on Aug. 23, a Saturday.

I think we may have the 23rd and the 29th open...

Flash will be far from done yet --- but we could come "watch"....

and, maybe afterwards we could all head for a late lunch or dinner
somewhere?

Let's shoot for August 23rd, no interference with Labor Day that way.

I'm sure we can arrange a late lunch / early dinner somewhere.

BTW, Bonny, Flash isn't your only Cobra is she?

Tom,

Do you need me to tell the rest of the club about it? Maybe you can get more then we did the last time, huh? ;)

Tony, I'm hoping for more (of course). I'm just trying to keep it fairly casual this time. Now that we have a date, I'll spread the word via the NorthCentralCobra list.

Feel free to mention it in your next update too.

Flash is Tim's Cobra ----

and ---
as for Trigger ---
she is our 20th Anniversary present to each other --- we usually only drive it for fun, we show it and we have never drag raced it or taken it to a "test and tune" before...

we both feel that the car is "perfect" for us ..... and never thought about anything but enjoying it.
She doesn't need anything...

And Flash is a boy...

but we could bring her (Trigger)
just for the fun of it!! :bounce:

its not that I didn't think about it -
I just have allot on my mind right now...

 if they do find out that it was mechanical error as I originally suspected --- than we have even more work to do..

Saturday, August 23. I believe they start running at 10am, I'll be there about 9:00.

You can find directions and other info at www.byrondragway.com

Let me know if you're coming and we'll all pit together. I'll try to get the far side, under the trees (that will make sense when you get there).

I would come, but I don't want to be beat by a certain Mystic both at RA and at the drag strip ;)

Tom,
You are coming to RA in sept, right?

I don't think I can swing the Northwoods RA event this year. I'm saving myself for GingerMan.

You never know, I might come up to hang out though.

Just a reminder, Byron Dragway, Saturday, Aug. 23 (tomorrow)!

I plan to get there about 9am, first cars on the track at 10am. If all goes according to plan we'll be pitting on the far side of the track under the trees (this will make sense when you see it).

The weather forcast is excellent so come on out!
